Join The Welcoming Committee (TWC) on Tuesday, April 21 for the final NYC launch event! We’re gathering 25 cheese-lovers for an intimate mixer at Beecher’s Cheese. Your evening includes three courses of Beecher’s handmade cheese and artisanal cuisine, complimented by three glasses of fine wine, accompanied by your fellow LGBTQ cheese & wine afficionados. We’ll have The Beecher’s Mezzanine all to ourselves, overlooking their in-house cheese-making factory and cheese shop. An expert Cheesemonger will detail the history of Beecher’s, how they make their cheeses, and offer an explanation of the various cheeses we’ll be tasting.

Tell me more about Beecher’s
Founded in 2002 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, Beecher’s is an artisanal cheese shop specializing in handmade, all-natural cheeses, free of bovine growth hormones, hydrogenated oils, nitrates and polysorbate. Seven days a week, fresh milk is delivered from upstate New York and pumped into tanks at their kitchen. Using the same techniques that have been used for thousands of years, cheesemakers dedicate each day to one of Beecher's many signature cheeses, such as the 15-month aged Flagship Cow, Dutch Hollow Dulcet, Sweet Grass Dairy, etc. Their wholesome, authentic cheese is full of flavor and high in nutrition, and all other meats, vegetables and foods used at Beecher's cafe are chosen with care to support local, small-scale enterprises who share their philosophy and commitment to pure food.
