On Saturday, August 9, 11am-7pm, TWC and StartOut are bringing their members together for the first ever TWC Hackathon. What's that? A hackathon is an event where people get together to collaborate to solve a problem. In our case, the challenge is how to introduce TWC to thousands of new members as we expand across the country.

Design the best 30-day campaign to creatively reach 30,000 new members in our soon-to-be-launched cities. TWC is opening three new cities in October 2014. We want to add 10 thousand members in each city between September 1 and September 30. We think the best way to find out about TWC is through current members, so we’re asking our members to come together to compete for prizes by designing campaigns that we can launch across three new cities to introduce thousands of people to TWC.
The day will begin with the announcement of the three cities we’re opening in. To develop their campaigns, teams of TWC members will brainstorm ideas with help from our staff, professional brand strategists, graphic designers, and presentation experts. Finally, they'll present their campaigns to a panel of judges.
