Boston's Institute for Contemporary Art is known for bringing groundbreaking artists to our little city by the sea. On August 15 from 6:30 to 10pm, they're bringing in queer DJs Juliana Huxtable and Venus X for their Wavelengths series of musical performances. Needless to say, it's going to be a little less staid than the average ICA event, so they've called in TWC to help them out.

The ICA is providing TWCers with tickets at member pricing. Enter your email address to be the first to know when they go on sale, and read more about Juliana and Venus X below:

Wavelengths: Juliana Huxtable and Venus X

New York “nightlife princess” Juliana Huxtable also identifies as a DJ, former legal assistant at the ACLU, writer and critic, and member of cultish artist collective and drag house House of Ladosha. Similarly uncategorizable, Venus X is apt to mix underground rap, Turkish techno, African house, Dominican dembow, and other rare international samples—creating a dance frenzy! Highly sought after in the underground and art worlds, she’s DJed parties for Terry Richardson, Damien Hirst, and Mickalene Thomas.
