LOCAL EVENTS:

The Welcoming Committee's local events (those that take place in one of our existing ten cities) have a no-refund policy after purchase.

However, tickets that have been purchased through TWC's Eventbrite page are typically transferable to other attendees who are interested in taking your place. If you'd like to transfer your ticket over to someone else please get in touch with us - if the final attendee list hasn't yet been submitted we can help put someone else's name on the ticket for you! 

For tickets that have been purchased through other third party sites, such as Ticketmaster or local performing arts theaters, refunds are subject to that organization's policy.


TRAVEL:

Return Policy for full payment purchasers:

  • For anyone who purchased their trip in full, TWC will refund 50% of the full amount paid if the request is made 60 or more days before the first night of the travel experience.
  • Cancellations made between 1 and 59 days before the first night of the travel experience are not eligible for a refund.
  • Additional merchandise purchased, such as tickets to shows or happy hours, will be fully refunded if that refund request is made 60 or more days before the first night of the travel experience. However, due to partner payment deadlines we won't be able to refund any merchandise purchases less than 60 days before first day of the trip. 

Return policy and deadlines for payment plan purchasers:

  • All deposits and payments made as a part of TWC's payment plan toward the purchase of the trip are non-refundable.
  • Missing payment deadlines, as a part of the overall payment plan, may forfeit your spot on a trip. TWC works with a number of partners to put together a spectacular experience for its members and must adhere to strict payment deadlines maintained by those partners. As such, we cannot guarantee that your spot will be held if you miss a payment deadline. If you're unable to make a deadline and need to work with us to make a payment, please get in touch with Josh (joshua@thewelcomingcommittee.com).
  • Additional merchandise purchased, such as tickets to shows or happy hours, will be fully refunded if that refund request is made 60 or more days before the first night of the travel experience. Policy for transfer of tickets:

  • Name transfers for tickets made 30+ days before the first night of the travel experience can be made at no additional charge.
  • For certain trips, name transfers for purchases made less than 30 days before the first night of the travel experience are subject to a $50 charge. Please send us a note if you'd like to put your ticket in someone else's name!
